Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Scale ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and GUNAYDIN APP STUDIO YAZILIM HIZMETLERI LIMITED SIRKETI ("we", "us", "our").

Description of Service

Scale is an AI-powered visual weight estimation application that allows users to:

• Capture or select photos of small objects (jewelry, herbs, spices, etc.)
• Receive AI-generated weight estimations based on visual analysis
• Choose between different scale modes and measurement units
• View detailed analysis results with weight breakdowns

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian's consent to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

AI-Generated Estimations

The weight estimations generated by our AI service ("Estimations") are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. You acknowledge that:

• Estimations are created by artificial intelligence and may not be perfectly accurate
• Estimations should not be used as a substitute for professional or certified weighing equipment
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of any weight estimation provided by the App
• You should not rely on Estimations for commercial transactions, legal purposes, medical dosing, or any situation where precise weight measurement is critical
• We are not responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on Estimations

User Content

When you capture or upload photos to the App ("User Content"), you retain ownership of your original photos. By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your photos solely for the purpose of generating weight estimations as requested by you.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to the photos you submit
• Your User Content does not violate any third party's rights
• Your User Content does not contain illegal, harmful, or offensive material

Subscriptions & Payments

The App offers premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions:

• Weekly Subscription: Provides access to all premium features for one week
• Annual Subscription: Provides access to all premium features for one year

Subscription terms:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
• Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period

Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

Free Usage

The App provides a limited number of free weight estimations before requiring a subscription. Free usage limits may change at any time without prior notice.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any usage limits or subscription requirements
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, graphics, and all other intellectual property, is owned by Gunaydin App Studio and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Disclaimers

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any AI-generated weight estimations
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App
• The suitability of any estimation for your specific use case

We do not guarantee that the App will meet your specific requirements or expectations. AI-generated weight estimations are approximations and should not be treated as precise measurements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gunaydin App Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the App
• Any decisions made based on AI-generated weight estimations
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any third-party conduct related to the App

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Gunaydin App Studio and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the App's Settings. Upon deletion, all locally stored data and your anonymous device identifier will be removed. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through your Apple ID settings.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are effective as of 2026-04-14.
