Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the No Ex (No Contact Tracker) application ("App") developed by Günaydın App Studio ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

No Ex is a personal wellness application designed to support users through no-contact periods following relationship endings. The App provides streak tracking, mood journaling, AI-powered chat analysis, community features, and motivational tools.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control. This license does not allow you to:

• Modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the App
• Use the App for commercial purposes or on behalf of third parties
• Extract or scrape data from the App or its services
• Circumvent any technical restrictions or security measures

4. Account & Authentication

The App uses anonymous, device-based authentication. You do not need to provide an email, phone number, or other personal identifiers. Your account is tied to a unique device identifier stored on your device.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining access to your device (account recovery is not possible if you lose your device identifier)
• Any activity that occurs under your device's account
• Keeping your device secure

Account deletion: You may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Delete Account. This action is irreversible.

5. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

5.1 Premium Subscription

The App offers optional premium features through auto-renewing subscriptions. All payments are processed through Apple's App Store.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
• Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region
• Free trial periods, if offered, convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends

5.2 Consumable Purchases (Chat Analysis Credits)

The App offers one-time credit purchases for the AI chat analysis feature. Credits are non-refundable and do not expire. Chat analysis credits are required for each analysis.

5.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

6. AI-Powered Features

6.1 Chat Analysis

The App offers AI-powered analysis of exported chat conversations using third-party AI models (Anthropic Claude via OpenRouter). By using this feature, you understand and agree that:

• Accuracy: AI analysis provides general insights and pattern observations, not professional psychological assessments. Results may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your situation.
• Not professional advice: AI-generated relationship insights are not a substitute for therapy, counseling, or professional advice.
• Data processing: Your chat messages are transmitted to third-party AI providers for analysis. While we do not permanently store this data, it is processed by external services during the analysis.
• Content responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any chat content you submit for analysis. Do not submit conversations without the awareness that message content will be processed by AI services.
• No guarantees: We do not guarantee specific outcomes, results, or accuracy from AI analysis features.

6.2 General AI Disclaimer

AI-generated content and analysis should be used as one input among many in understanding your relationships. Do not make significant life decisions based solely on AI-generated insights.

7. Community Features

7.1 User-Generated Content

The App includes community features where you can share posts, comments, and direct messages with other users. By using these features, you agree that:

• You are solely responsible for the content you create and share
• Your posts may be visible to other users of the App
• Anonymous posts still carry the same content responsibilities
• We may remove content that violates these terms without prior notice

7.2 Content Standards

You agree not to post content that:

• Is abusive, harassing, threatening, or intimidating toward other users
• Contains hate speech, discrimination, or promotes violence
• Includes explicit sexual content or graphic material
• Contains personal information of others without their consent (doxxing)
• Is spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation
• Promotes self-harm, suicide, or dangerous behavior
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Is illegal under applicable law
• Encourages others to break no-contact in harmful ways (e.g., stalking, harassment)

7.3 Moderation

We reserve the right to:

• Remove any content that violates these terms
• Suspend or ban users who repeatedly violate content standards
• Review reported content and take appropriate action
• Use automated or manual moderation tools

In addition, you can block any user at any time. Blocking hides that user's posts, comments, and messages from you, and prevents direct messages between you in both directions.

7.4 Direct Messages

Direct messaging between users is available within the App. You agree to use this feature respectfully. Harassment, unsolicited inappropriate content, or abuse through direct messages will result in account suspension. If another user makes you uncomfortable, you can block them from their profile or report them for review.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or infrastructure
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App or its services
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App
• Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity
• Use the App to harass, stalk, or contact individuals who have asked you not to contact them
• Exploit, resell, or commercially redistribute the App or its content
• Circumvent rate limiting, security measures, or access controls
• Upload malicious content, malware, or attempt to compromise the App's security

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, branding, trademarks, and creative elements in the App are owned by Günaydın App Studio and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Your content: You retain ownership of the content you create within the App (diary entries, posts, messages). By posting content in community features, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the App for the purpose of operating the community features.

10. Health & Wellness Disclaimer

The App is designed as a supportive tool for personal emotional well-being during no-contact periods. It is important to understand that:

• The App is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition
• Features such as mood tracking, streak counting, and AI analysis are informational tools, not clinical assessments
• The App does not replace professional therapy, counseling, or psychiatric care
• If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm, severe depression, or a mental health emergency, please contact a licensed mental health professional or emergency services immediately
• Relationship advice and insights provided by the App (including AI-generated content) are general in nature and may not be appropriate for your specific situation

11. Availability & Modifications

We strive to maintain the App's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to:

• Modify, update, or discontinue features at any time
• Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
• Change pricing for premium features (existing subscriptions honored through their current period)
• Terminate the service with reasonable notice

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• That the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• That AI-generated content will be accurate or appropriate
• That the App will meet your specific requirements or expectations
• That data will not be lost (we recommend maintaining your own records of important content)

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Günaydın App Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the App
• Any content generated by AI features
• Actions taken based on information provided by the App
• Unauthorized access to your account or data
• Loss of data or content
• Interactions with other users through community or messaging features
• Any third-party services integrated into the App

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Günaydın App Studio, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use of the App
• Content you create or share through the App
• Your violation of any third-party rights

15. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including Apple App Store, Cloudflare, OpenRouter, Anthropic, OneSignal, and Adapty. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the practices, policies, or content of third-party services.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to violations of these Terms, community guidelines, or applicable law. Upon termination:

• Your license to use the App is revoked
• You may lose access to your data and content
• Provisions that by their nature should survive (limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will remain in effect

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree with the modified Terms, you should discontinue use of the App.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

19. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
